A little bit about me

I'm a freelance illustrator and surface pattern designer, based in Haarlem, the Netherlands, where I live with my husband and our two cats.

I'm specialized in painting botanicals, flowers and animals and create illustrations and patterns for a range of different purposes.

After finishing my education in fashion design at ArtEZ school of arts in Arnhem I shifted my focus towards designing prints and started to focus more and more on making illustrations. I love to draw and paint and always start each design by hand on paper. The beauty of nature is what inspires me most and I like to design in a very intuitive way.
